President Nicolae Timofti today laid flowers at the Eternity memorial venue in Chisinau today, to commemorate World War II fallen heroes.
The president also laid flowers to commemorative stones, Eternal Flame and Grieving Mother monuments, as well as to the Stella of Moldovan Heroes.
Attending the event were also Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu and Prime Minister Pavel Filip.
