Excellency,
On behalf of the people of the Republic of Moldova and my own, I have the honor to send you my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday of Ukraine – Independence Day.
I use this opportunity to reiterate that the Republic of Moldova is a good neighbor and sincere friend, who shares the joy of the achievements of Ukraine in the process of building and consolidating a modern and prosperous European state.
The progress achieved is of additional significance, given the extremely complicated stage that Ukraine is going through in its consistent efforts to reintegrate the country. Expressing my firm conviction in identifying a peaceful and lasting solution to overcome, as soon as possible, these challenging developments, I want to reconfirm the position of the Republic of Moldova on supporting the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. At the same time, I would like to reaffirm my determination to develop and deepen the traditional relations of friendship, good neighborliness and mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries and peoples.
With certainty in the success of this important goal, please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.
