The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, paid a working visit to Dublin, where she discussed with Moldovan citizens living there.
During her working visit to Dublin, President Maia Sandu engaged in discussions with Irish President Michael D. Higgins and Prime Minister Simon Harris.
President Maia Sandu is currently in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, where she is participating in the European Political Community Summit, hosted by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
The head of state will be on a working visit to the United Kingdom on July 17-18, followed by a visit to Ireland on July 19.
Dear Chancellor Olaf Scholz, welcome to the Republic of Moldova! I am glad to greet you in Chisinau. This is the first bilateral visit of a German chancellor to our country in the last 12 years, and is an opportunity to reaffirm the importance we attach to our relationship with the Federal Republic of Germany and to strengthen this cooperation.
