Moldovan president conveys condolences to family of Moldovan late painter, author of national symbols

President Nicolae Timofti, accompanied by his presidential advisers, attended the funeral of the Moldovan well-known late artist, Gheorghe Vrabie today.

Timofti conveyed condolences to the grieving family and laid flowers at the coffin of the late artist, who created Moldova’s coat of arms.

Gheorghe Vrabie had also designed the Moldovan leu, as well as Chisinau’s coat of arms and flag.
